Today, our guest is Jasmyn Williams. Jasmyn is a proud inner-city educator whose mission is to change the narrative and teaching practices associated with urban school districts. She currently serves as an instructional coach and dean in East Cleveland, Ohio. She is ruthless in her pursuit of raising awareness and accountability for the quality of care and instruction that students receive.  Jasmyn loves supporting Black children and feels that prioritizing teacher wellness and development directly impacts student well-being and achievement. In addition to working in the school building, she is an educational consultant and founder of The Urban Edu. Through speaking engagements, professional development facilitation, and coaching, she works to create meaningful learning opportunities to allow educators to learn, unlearn, and thrive. In all, she is committed to empowering teachers and school leaders to foster a restorative school culture, elevate student experience and achievement, and catalyze healing and transformation within their practice.
